ProductsAgentbooks

Books that agents can propose to and people post.

Agentbooks is a multitenant accounting platform with double-entry books, inventory, and India-first statutory scope. Agents and the API are first-class clients; the web interface is one client among equals.

Where it stands

Agentbooks is an early preview with known coverage gaps. It is not a release of primary books.

Where it is heading

Direction, not shipped capability

Banking, compliance filing, inventory orders, an extension engine, and an agent interface are specified and not yet built.

Posted means permanent.

  • An append-only ledger: posted vouchers are immutable and corrections are reversal-linked entries.
  • A firm can keep books for many client companies in one place; the wall between them is enforced in the database itself, not in application code.
  • The daily work is all there: chart of accounts, period close, bills and settlement, standard reports, and keyboard-first voucher entry the way accountants already work.
  • Bidirectional interchange with an established desktop accounting format, so books can be brought in with one upload and taken out again.

A proposal is probabilistic. The ledger is not.

Agents propose, people post

Agent proposals and draft vouchers land in a review inbox. A person accepts, rejects, or withdraws each one before anything is posted.

Semantic validation

Wrong-role parties, inactive items, and incompatible units are refused with structured errors an agent can act on.

Lineage on every entry

Every posted entry keeps its trace, so the question of who posted what, and on whose authority, always has an answer.
